The UK government has announced plans to introduce 5G into the West Midlands, trialling it across a number of industries before running it out to cover the entirety of the nation. The £150 million investment to set up the network is an excellent development for the region which is now being seen as a serious competitor for new businesses, outside of London.

Researchers also found that the industry is continuing to grow worldwide, particularly in the UK. Figures from the DSA show that over 400,000 individuals seek this type of role as a viable option, due to colossal customer demand for the industry.
